As promised here are the first of my creations using PS, I had so much fun with these, the images I used are by a wonderfully talented artist called Josephine Wall She gives her permission for anyone to use her work, AS LONG as you respect her TOU, so please if you do use any of her work please read those terms and make sure you abide by them. You can read all her Terms in her website under "Licencing". Thank you.

These papers are all Full Sized, 300dpi and saved as JPEG format, Not sure if anyone wants them but hey I was so happy that after all these years of having PS I was able to make something, no matter how small lol. Anyway here they are if you can use them then enjoy,

The preview has been greatly resized so the papers in the zip file are of a better quality.

A lot Happening.......

A lot has been happening in the last few months, quite a lot really, I've been taking lessons in PS, Yes me who is or was a die hard PSP fan, since learning PS I've found that I'm beginning to love the programme so much, I've a long way to go yet but I'm really enjoying it, I've even been messing around with making some papers, I'll be posting these in a while.

Michelle over at Michelles Angels has opened up her very own new stores, very exciting, You can either click on Michelles name and that will take you to her blog, where you'll be able to find all the links or you can go to her very new blinkies which are listed on the left hand side of this blog, Now she has opened up not one but two new stores, the first is for scraps and is called CSI-ScrapLab Why your there take a look around at all the awesome things you'll find there, the second is for Posers, called The Poser Realm again take a look I bet you'll find things you love there.

Im now getting over the flu so hopefully I can find some energy to get back to playing, in both PSP and PS I'll see what I can come up with, most of it will be done in PSP for the moment, still don't know enough about PS but the little I have learnt, well I'm becoming addictited very quickly lol.

As I said a while ago, quite a while ago, I've been trying to sort out a new computer, and get all my plug-ins working again, well I've finally managed to get almost everything done now Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
While I've been messing about with it, thought I may as well start playing around to see what was and what was not working, In all of that mess, I managed to get some Overlays done, They are all in PNG format, and 800 x 800 @ 300 dpi. (I've also been trying my hand at Full Size, something my old computer would never like to do, so didn't lol

Its been a long time since I've been on here, but I'm back again or I will be when I can finally finish something to put up here. A lot has been going on here, family problems, then my old computer up and died on me, so had to get a new one, I used to moan about my old computer so much but I was so familiar with it and having to get used to a new one has really thrown me, I think I'm finally there with working out how this new one works, lol.

I hope you have all been well and I've missed not being around. Now all I need to do is get some things finished off and get them posted to you. Thanks for listening to me waffle on a bit, (or have you all got fed up and left lol) Anyway new things will be following shortly so check back often.

I have finally finished this kit, this one has been on the go for the longest time, so I'm really happy that its now finished. Because of the colors the only name for this one could be St Clements

There are no shadows on the originals, this is purely for preview purposes, the origianls are also larger and a lot better quality than you see here.

I am sorry to say that for some reason the zip files from the tags and Fistful of flowers would not open for some people. It seems that the latest version of Winzip had 2 file formats, Zip and Zipx, only those people with winzip could open the Zipx files. So I have today got rid of the old zip files and re-uploaded new zip files. Thank you to those of you who let me know about this problem, and again I'm really sorry.

I have got my Daughter to try all these files and they now open for her and she doesn't have WinZip installed so they should all open up without any problems.

Thank you for all your patience over the last couple days, I was going to do a little tidy up of the blog, but instead ended up making a whole new layout lol. On the test site it looked okay, but once I'd loaded it up here, it just didnt' look right, so had to redo it again. Finally got everything the way I wanted, (well still not to sure about the banner at the top, but it will be okay for now). No more fiddling around with it (for the time being)

I may even change a few colours on it and zip it up for download, maybe a nice black and red, so you'll have to keep checking on Havens Layouts for it. Just click on the "Layout" tab in the header to whisk you over there.

Spring Blooms

It seems that I can't manage to keep up the good work of finishing one kit before starting another, I now have quite a few on the go again, but have managed to finish 2, so here they are for you.

I got a little carried away with this one,

There are a lot more elements than you see here, and there are no shadows on the original zip file, the quality is a lot better on the original files, the ones you see here are compressed and resized a lot for the preview.

Greyscale Bow

I am so happy today, I've been teaching myself Photoshop and for the last few weeks have only been playing with different tools and finding out where they were, what they do etc, but last night I figured I'd try a bow. I have to say for my first Photoshop try I was very happy with the way it turned out. I have zipped it up so if anyone wants it please feel free to snag it. This has been left in PSD format and left as 3 layers and is a greyscale image, so you can leave it as is, colorise it, add things to it, or take some away.

Here you can see some that I've colorised, the only one that is in the zipped file is the greyscale one.

Disco Ball Script

Have been working on this Disco Ball script for a while now, but just couldn't get it to look right. Finally today I managed it. All layers are left open so you can change the tubes, or remove them altogether and add your own.

No outside Plugins required.

The script comes with the string, bead tubes and staples, and is tagger size, approx 700 x 400 pixels.

Don't know if anyone has noticed the little weather widget at the bottom of the page here. Well I just had to laugh at it today, it says Light Snow, here's why I just had to laugh, This is the sight I had from my back door this morning. lol

That is what greeted me this morning and its been snowing all day, so far we have about 8 inches with more to follow. This has come as a bit of a shock as I am in the South of England where we usually get the best of the weather. lol.

Well it does look very pretty I guess.

We have been having so much bad weather here in the south of the UK, 10 inches of snow, then the ice yuk, but I took a picture and managed to get some lovely colors from it, and for some reason the name that came to mind was Frozen Tundra, so what else could I call this kit. I hope you enjoy

Have made a new Script for you, hope you enjoy this one. This started out as something totally different, but I couldn't get it t go right, but managed to come up with this Fan for you. lol You wouldn't believe me if I told you what this was originally going to be. But If you promise not to laugh I'll tell you, It was going to be a Vase lol.

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy this, I have enclosed the things I used for this, but please experiment with it. You get to choose the color, pattern or gradient, and the layers are left unmerged so you add anything to it you wish.

No outside plug-ins needed.

This will make a Fan approx 700 x 400 pixels @ 300 dpi.

Whoo, I've finished another kit for ya all. There are 3 glitter tiles attached wtih this kit which are 400 x 400 @ 300dpi, these are not seamless.

There are no shadows on the original files of elements or alpha's, these are only for the preview.

Please note that there are only A-Z of each color in Upper and Lower case and no drop shadows on the original files. Have fun.

Rosette Bow Script

I am really enjoying making scripts, and for that I have to thank Michelle and all the designers over at Michelles Store, and Incognito, who I script test for. Thank you ladies.

Here is my latest script, I have called this one a Rosette Bow

This script makes a 800x800 pixel bow, at 300 dpi. You will need AVBros, you can get this Here, EC5 Impact Bevel and Glass, you can get these Here I hope you like this and can use it. You can choose your own colors, and layers are left unmerged, so you can really have some fun.

Double Flower Script

I was messing about today with scripts, and finally ended up doing a double flower, (I was originally playing about with my shading, I need a lot of help with that side of things. lol)

Anyway decided I would make my scripts as PU, or CU as long as the terms of use are adhered to.

Well you don't want to hear me going on, so I'll get down to it and get the preview posted. This was written in V 9 and tested in V 12.

For this script you will need Mura Meisters Copies, EC5 Impact Bevel. Run in Interactive mode.

Candlestick Script

Was taking a few mins off from clearing up and just had to play, have been doing decorating so haven't had much chance lately. Anyway this is what I came up with, Hope you can use it. This script was written in V9 and not sure if it will work in any other versions. (I really should get some people to test these for you all, anyone interested lol) You will need EC 4000 Chrome, and one thing you will have to make sure of, if you already have the rope tube then in Versions 10 and up you will have to make sure its called "Rope" I have included the tube.

Anyway here is the preview

The actual size of the finished candlestick is 800 x 1500 (approx) 300 dpi.

Okay so here it is, I have made my first script, BUT I'm now going to ask everyone here to test it for me, how cheeky am I lol. It was written in Version 9 and I've run it in my Version 12 Ultimate. Here's where you all come in, I'd be very grateful if you could leave me a message with what version of psp you have and whether it works for you.

I have heard that this script does work in Version 9 and 12,

Requires Eye Candy 5 Impact, Bevel.

I have some more that I've done, but lets see how we get on with this one first. Thank you to you all. Please let me know how you get on with it.

Milleneom Alpha Add On

As promised I made the Alpha Add on for the Milleneom Kit.
You get the full Alpha in both Green and Yellow, A-Z well it would be pretty useless otherwise wouldn't it. lol and the numbers 0-9 again in Green and Yellow. The originals don't have a drop shadow on it. Made in png format, 300 dpi and taggers size.

Well what on earth does this name mean, well the only name I could come up with was lemon and lime, so I mixed up the letters and got Milleneom. lol

I was going to do some Alphas for this kit, but for some reason I didn't so I may do them as an add on later on. I've been playing with so many things lately that nothing seems to be getting done, I even made a script. But it hasn't been tested, so maybe I'll get y'all to test it for me lol.

We've had some lovely weather here the last couple of days, but today we've had storms so have been stuck indoors all day, so I was determined to make the most of it and get some kits finished. This one I've been working on for a while. Hope you like it

Just Got To Share

I know I haven't been very busy lately, but there has been a very good excuse this time, I've been busy with babies 3 so far with maybe 3 more due, no there not my human babies lol. Well let me just show you.

Now aren't they just soooooo cute. My tiels Gemini and Leo have finally hatched 3 of their 6 eggs. At the moment I'm not even sure that the others will hatch but I'm just so happy with these 3 little darlings. I also have a Red Rump Parakeet on eggs but they not due just yet, maybe a few more days yet. Gemini and Leo have been trying to hatch eggs for the last couple years but have never been successful until this time.

These have been resized and condensed, the originals are a lot larger and better quality.

Hi all, I have a new kit ready, I've called this one Rose Garden, didn't think I would ever finish this one, as I've got so many on the go, I seem to keep getting ideas for something new and then just have to start that one. So last night I was very hard on myself and just wouldn't look at anything else until I had this one finished and uplaoded.

Have been playing around and come up with another kit for ya all.
Blue Hawaii, well its just that when I think of Hawaii, I always think of Blue, blue skies, blue water etc. Yes I know all you people living in Hawaii are now thinking "This lady is crazy" well yes I am a little bit, but I'm also a Brit. lol That should explain it all. I have all these notions on how different states should be, and in reality most turn out to be nothing like I imagine.

Have a new kit, and this one is in memory of our beloved Cat, Tuppence, we had her for 21 years and she had been with us since she was a kitty. A very dear friend of mine said how lucky we were, (I thought that a very strange thing to say, until I read the rest of the email) to have had her for so long, and you know we really were lucky. Now each time I think of her I can think of all the years we had so much fun, rather than crying my eyes out. Thank you so much for those words, they have helped far more than you'll ever know.

Backgrounds

I have today moved all my blog backgrounds over to Haven Layouts Hopefully this will make things a little easier all round to find them.

I have also started making them to fit a 19" monitor, no I haven't treated myslef to a new one just swapped my 17" with my son who had the 19" lol. I did ask him before hand so its okay. I'm also making some that will fit either a 3 column blog or a wide 2 column. I will be marking those all up as time allows.

I've been sent this Challenge by Janice and Deb and this is what I need to do. ~Go to my pictures folder, got to the 6th folder of pictures, then pick the 6th picture from that. (Well I already know what this picture will be) I then forward this challenge on to 6 different sites. and link them all up.
